Guest guest
Hi, everyone. I have been in bed with the flu, for almostthree weeks. Today, I think it is finally over! My bg was the lowest it has been, durimg that tme. Woke up with 105. During this flu seige, it has ranged from a high of 179, to about 130. I am just amazed at how muchj this bug effcted my bg. The highs were definitely not from eating high carb. I stuck to water, diet 7up, sugar free jello, chicken broth, and a few crackers. The few times I tried to eat something more solid, it brought on diarreha. I never did vomit, just dealt with the runs. I saw my dr. He said rest and lots of fluids. o, that is what I did. Now, I am craving veggies! uch to my surprise. But, I am very grateful to be back in touch with all of you. Please avoud this bug, if possible. Now, I will work on catching up on reading my email. Hug, to al who want them, Sheila
Guest guest
Welcome back, Sheila! I had the URI kind. My doc said my sinuses were " on fire " and I came close to pneumonia but I didn't get the diarrhea or vomiting kind. AND I DON'T WANT IT. Luckily, my blood sugars allowed me to drink all the orange juice I could and that was amazing. I couldn't believe how good it tasted. I did lost 10 pounds. Kay W.
