Guest guest Posted May 14, 2006 Report Share Posted May 14, 2006 I found this, too--that alcohol helped a lot with the pain. Interestingly, though, pain meds--even strong ones--did nothing. If alcohol helps you, that suggests to me that one of the drug treatments for dv might help you. Have you tried a tricyclic like elavil or pamelor?
