Guest guest
I am still dealing with the pain, itching, and buring. First it was BV, then yeast and now dermatitis. i am trying a antihistamine cream compunded, a low dose steroid, and a bit of estrogen. The last time I met with the doc he thought a biopsy would show more about what is going on on the outside skin wise. I had a biopsy last year looking for lichen which come out negative. I am wondering if I should go ahead and have another one. what exactly would they be able to find in one? Do you think it would be valuable to do or a waste of time. I am not doing it looking for lichen, just more or less an idea of what my skin is doing. I am also curious where is the best place to get the biopsy taken area wise. It hurts all over so it is hard to know the area that is the best place. Those that have had biopsies were they done by an obg, or a dermatologist. This is an obg doctor, but the sample will be sent to a skin pathologist I believe. Thanks for the input, Annie
