Lyssa,

Since I started at 519, I am still losing a little bit. I am just 7

weeks along so am trying to get over the hurdle of first trimester. Sorry I

can't be more help.

Thanks for writing everyone 2 yrs out + How have you been doing weight

wise? Have you had the baby yet? I'm due 2-14-02 and my weight has been

stable at least a year so all the stories I keep hearing of how I lost 10+

lbs during the pregnancy likely won't apply to me .. I hadn't lost weight in

ages before getting pregnant and I'm wondering what the pregnancy might be

like weight gain wise .. if you've had the baby were you able to lose the

pregnancy weight?

Mickeal,

Thank you for the compliment. My gynecologist has sent me to a high

risk person even though my primary does not feel that it is necessary. My

Gyn. would have liked for me to get under 200 before getting pg, but changed

her tune after I asked if she was nuts! My goal is actually 219, which will

mean that I would have lost 300 lbs!

My primary is concerned about my being able to eat enough to sustain

myself, she says that the babe will take what it needs. I am going to my 2

year post op appointment next week and will talk to the nutritionist about a

modified eating plan for pregnancy.

I have decided to stick with the high risk people especially since they

are only 2 miles from my house. My first appointment is on the 9th.
