Irene...I'm sorry you are having pain with your hand. I know about pain. Without pain meds I would be in bed with the shades drawn.

Does anything give you relief?

Sher...The oly thing that I was prescribed was Tylenol#1 2 every 4 hours. Ice packs, rest and there's nothing else we can do for you....like kind of saying "live with it" and go home.

I tried 3 every 6 hours and it seemed to work over the weekend, but Monday and yesterday it swelled up like a tomato., to the point I couldn't write or sign anything. On Friday morning I'm seeing the Rheumatologist.

Hi May....I contacted my Rheumatolgist on Monday and said this cannot continue something has to be done about it. I'm seeing her on Friday morning. Yesterday I was seen in ER (tuesday night) and dr sees my hand and says you're flaring duh like I didn't know that....
