Hi Lori Anne,

Glad that your surgery went so well. Congrats on being on the losing side. I

just can't wait to get there. I've only just begun my journey. You are such an

inspiration to me. Hope my surgery goes as well as yours.

Hi Lori Ann,

Where are you from? Better yet where did you have your surgery? My

name is Hazel, I'm in St. Bernard Parish, just outside of New Orleans. My

surgery is 9/2 with Dr Scalia at WMC at St. General Hospital. I'm

hoping

my surgery goes as smooth as yours!!!!!

Your surgery ordeal sounds IDEAL. I am so nervous about mine, which will

be sometime the middle of September.

Hi Charlotte

What type of WLS will you be having? You must do your research well girl and

figure out ways of getting in your vitamins and fluids and protein

afterwards. Get the best surgeon you can and if you can have lap ask for it and

trust

in the Lord and all will be well. Good Luck sweetie and calm those nerves :)

We will always be here for you in this group and you know you will always have

our support.

lori,

wyler decaf green tea, is that the same green tea that they use for weight

loss?

No A B

It is just a nice sugar free drink mix from wyler's brand. Mix it with fresh

cold water and it is so refreshing and a good way to get your fluids in. Buy

some and try it you will love it as much as I do LOL

Welcome back, Lori Anne! Your op experience sounds so much like mine. I was

just fit as a fiddle afterwards and didn't feel at all like my insides had

been scrambled. ~knocks on wood~

Hey

Yup feels good but I do notice a change in the gas LOL I crack myself up when

I go to the bathroom like dang girl now that is just unlady like hahahahaha.

My surgeon gave me a prescription for the gas and I have not been nausea or

even felt like I have had to throw up. I like you have absolutely no regrets

this is the best thing I have ever done. While I was in the hospital I became

very chummy with a lot of the nurses and they said people receive this

operation a lot RNY and they have seen some amazing results LOL. We are on our

way

let the bathing suits fly LOL

How long does the excessive gas lasts?!! What does everyone do when you

have company? I would just die of embarrassment if I did that when I had

company. LOL
