You have to do some math to figure out how many " blocks of food " you can have, like fats, you determine based on some factors like your weight. It's written by a guy named Dr. barry sears... His book describes what Atkins says, about carbos causing insulin to rise, causing us to be fat. So 2 points for Sears, b/c they agree.
