Guest guest
Stress can bring on physical problems...I do believe it can bring on diabetes. Just before I 'got' it I was working at a job i hated after begging them to rehire me since i couldn't find other work, left my husband, not eating or sleeping properly and had people who were desperate...would have been homeless... living with me in a one bedroom apartment! I nearly went mad and shortly thereafter I started getting the symptoms that 'should' have warned me what was going on! (my sis was diagnosed eight yrs earlier...stress very high in her life as well!) Not sitting on the pity pot...that was three years ago...and since then things are better...but when it is one thing after another for long periods of time I think that is a red flag to folks to take care of themselves more...they are at higher risk for trouble. In a way diabetes has been a blessing...it has forced me to think about myself for the first time in years. It also makes me appreciate life more. Pity that it had to be this to bring me to my senses about so many things. Anyway, God bless the caregivers! Tam
Guest guest
Yes, diabetes is a blessing that I cannot put others before myself. I knew the stress I was into last year and the way I ignored my needs of necessity, my body would pay a high price for some time to come. But diabetes???? Never occured to me.
