Guest guest
Sher, I have gone from not sleeping to sleeping 7 to 8 hours then an hour in the afternoons. I am not sure what the reason. I am enjoying it. Life goes on. I am so glad you are going to a teaching University. You will have many Dr's going over your case. I am very happy with my Dr's. The only thing is I had to gather up my CT scans and reports and take them with me. I do pray you are blessed with the best they have to offer. You deserve it. Love and Prayers, Peggy ipf 6/04 Florida"Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up." Peggy...my latest update, the rest of you can read over her shoulder. lolI'm changing pulmonologists again. My Dr. lost his credibility when he said he didn't think I have PF and then when I confronted him I was told my tests show I do and I must have misunderstood. I don't want to second guess him. So I'm going to OHSU...Oregon Health Sciences University. A teaching hospital. Have my first appt. in March and by then all my tests, scans and x-rays willhave been sent. I think this is my third change.I'm smarter now and will go in with more knowledge. I'm lucky I guess, I'm told there is a new "Fellow" even though it's a female and she specializes in PF. Good for me!There aren't Dr.s left to go to now! I've seen two of the best qualified in my area. Maybe OHSU is where I'm supposed to be. It's a longer drive but oh well. Now I have a seemingly silly question: I've been sleeping until about 9! (Now no silly remarks youse guys) I'm usually up around 7 and can hardly wake at 9. I go to bed about 10:30. Do any of you sleep longer than usual?Of course I know there are many considerations but I'm curious about the rest of you.Later.Sher; ipf 3-06; OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Guest guest
Peggy...I do feel good about OHSU. >>>I think a "" in Riddle goes there too. That would be nice to meet her. Gosh I hope I remembered her name correctly.>>> I've been there for many years and always had good care. Especially if one has something "unusual", there are many in attendance so to speak. This time I have questions I didn't know existed when I started out. I'm also going to rehab again. Begin in Jan. 2x/wk. Since the pain is well controlled I think the rehab will help me now. Guest guest
Sher, I definitely find I need more sleep, lots more sleep. I go to bed around 11 and will sleep till 8 or 9 if nothing wakes me up. I think with any chronic illness the body needs more rest! Guest guest
MB...thanks. For so many years I've had sleep-disorders and/or couldn't sleep properly. I guess now everything is coming together for me and now, like you I sleep about the same hours. You'll need all that sleep, getting settled and all. How wonderful for you. A permanent home, no more moving. Hugs. Sher; ipf 3-06; OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!
