Guest guest Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 I knew that there were a lot of people with PF that have GERD but I didnt know that GERD could cause PF did anyone else know of this? I have been putting a list of all my symptoms (dont you love that word) together for todays doctor appt. I have had GERD for YEARS and they ahve tried all the drugs and nothing works accept Protonix well it hasnt been working lately and I have had to double the dosage and still not getting much relief. Never had one of those Endos either I think its about time to get one, did you know that the stomach acid could cause that Barretts disease and that gives you an increased risk to cancer. My gosh everyone makes it sound like GERD has to be monitored and watched regularly, I dont think anyone has paid attention to it since I got put on meds years ago. What a shame.
