Hi! I'm an Army wife SAHM and a new Atkins dieter! I tried it last summer, 2 weeks before my husband left for a 8 month school option! Needless to say, without his support and just being here it didn't last!

I weigh 295 on my scale (311 on the MD's scale)

My "ideal" is 120! So I have 175 to lose.

3rd day on induction menu:

pre-breakfast: pepperoni (about 15) and Swiss (2 slices)

breakfast: 3 eggs and 4 slices of bacon

lunch: 1/4 cup of chicken salad (chicken and mayo) meatloaf (ground beef, sausage and cheese) cup salad

snack: sugar-free jello & heavy cream

dinner: 2 steaks, 1/2 cup salad

Drink: 20 oz water, 3 diet cokes (I know I know I know!)

Challenges: non today!

Exercise: non today!

Hi, ,

I'm glad you checked in. You are doing exactly what I like to see new Atkins WOE'ers doing . . . having plenty of small meals through the day. I swear, I think that is what made the difference for me. It's a rare day when I start off without breakfast. . . . I try to make sure to eat breakfast every single day (unless I just sleep way too late). And then, small snacks through the day are a great way to keep your body fueled up and in fat-burning mode.

It looks like you're doing great . . . keep it up, and work on that water, girlfriend! You'll be glad you did.

Sabina,

You are doing so well . . . eating good home cooked foods, getting your salads and veggies, AND drinking water. Good girl! No wonder you've lost 4 pounds in 5 days!

Excellent!
