If I may, I want to toot our horn even more!

The quilt squares project raised $600 for SPF. We have some fabulous quilt

squares. That's a start on next year's grants!

A lady who is not on PLS-Friends (she doesn't have a computer) but did attend

our CA CONNECTION in San Diego, asked if I'd help her send out letters for

the symposium. Of course I said I would; she only lives 5 minutes from me. She

provided me with a list...I was a bit taken back...130 addresses. It took us

a couple days to get them in the mail but now the money is coming in. She

has received about $1,000 so far and she's thrilled that she has been able to

contribute. (She was very taken by Dr. Fink in San Diego, that he took the time

to talk with her.)

Can't wait for those cookbooks to come so we'll raise even more......
