Yeast infections and estrogen

I am taking a medication that essentially prevents my body from

producing 80% of the estrogen I would normally have post menopause.

So here's the deal. One of the side effects of this medication is,

drum roll, you guessed it YEAST INFECTIONS. So far so good, but I do

use boric acid prophalacticly (sp) Go figure!
