Guest guest
Thanks . The greyish stuff that builds on my tongue seems to coincide with my headache pain symptoms. Had one last night. The stuff on my tongue was analyzed and found not to be candida. But no one has yet to tell me what the substance is! I would like to hear from the group. So far 2 people have responded in the affirmative. I chased my diagnosis for 23 years. During that time my best friend from high school and his sister were experiencing similar symptoms and has the same goo on their tongue as well. I just found this out recently. My wife, a healthy person when we got married, now experiences the exact same pain symptoms that I do. There are others. What this means is a good question. My personal feelings are that RP, at least in my case, is caused by a parasite, a plasmodium maybe. This would explain my response to anti malarials and the coincidence of others close to me having similar symptoms. This of course is not substantiated. I believe that the Re: Sheridan/ tongue -----Original Message----- : I too am new to the group. Several months before my ears first started hurting, my tongue started feeling strange and I had cotton mouth all of the time. Then my tongue also developed a grey/green film on it. I still have it today. I'm not sure what it is, but two doctors told me that a sore tongue like I had suggested a viral infection. I think either RP is caused by an unknown chronic virus or the body sees the overactive T cells as invaders and responds to them like they were viruses. It's very interesting that several of your boyhood friends also have RP symptoms. Since this disease hits about one in every million, there must be some kind of connection there that may be valuable to researchers. What did you and your friends do/have in common? That may be a great clue to solving this RP mystery. Also, I am a school teacher. One of my students was recently diagnosed with a chronditis in her chest. She has other symptoms of RP as well. What are the chances that both of us have developed a condritis condition around the same time., given the rarity of the disease? What's the connection here too?? If we could all share enough information on the Web, maybe we could help uncover a cause to this thing. Thanks for sharing info!!! >>hi and welcome. maybe we can come up with answers that our doctors can't > hi and welcome. maybe we can come up with answers that our doctors can't

Just use them after you brush your teeth, eventually you will notice less and less gunk build up on your tongue. Been there and done that.... Guest guest
Tongue Coating: I think we are up to 6 people that have the whitish grey coating on their tongue. Does any one in the forum NOT have it? Re: Re: Sheridan/ tongue From: Lu1953@... Guest guest
i AM GOING TO A NEW DOCTOR mONDAY AND i WILL ASK HIM ABOUT THE FILM ON THE TONGUE AS i HAVE IT AT TIMES AS WELL. Your tale of your wife and friends with the symptoms is amazing and definately worth looking into. I have read in agov. report that RP was considered one of the diseases brought on by the persian gulf wars but for the life of me I can't remember it all. I have to go searching again for that article., We looked into the possibility of a chemical reaction as a possible cause and I do remember that was the VA's position on it Love and Gentle Hugs, Angie Yesterday will fade and tomorrow will take care of itself. Lord, help me give today my best shot http://www.geocities.com/acenneno_1999 http://rpolychondritis.tripod.com/index.html http://members.tripod.com/~autoimmune
