You can have this emailed to any account. It doesn't have to be a yahoo

account.

That way you get the little text ad at the bottom and non of the incessant

web camera ads or what-have-you. To do this, go to " edit my membership. "

Set the email preference to get all messages or a daily digest of messages.

As for the other stuff, mentioned below I checked it out for myself, and if

you go to that marketing preference page (I think I got there via the main

yahoo page and signing in wth the yahoo ID) it initializes the page with

every box checked yes, I'm not sure that if you don't visit the page it

behaves as if you visited the page and accepted the defaults. I say that

because I had not seen, myself, any increase in junk mail from yahoo, or any

other source. To be safe I did go through and check the " No " boxes and

saved the preferences.
