HI kintail (sorry hon you didn't sign off and I don't remember your first name)

I've seen members suggest the Butt Paste, LOL (and that is its name), as being good and you can buy it on line, so no need to borrow a baby, chuckle* Here's a link for it. BUTT PASTE http://www.buttpaste.com/ and I'll bet what those nurses used was something similiar.

Oops just saw their site is down because of the Hurricane Katrina. DARN... Oh well.

Never mind....... LOL I found it here too at Drugstore.com and on sale right now.

But also noticed these listed as the ingredients......

BUTT PASTE:

Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 16% (Diaper Rash Ointment)Inactive Ingredients: Peruvian Balsam, Boric Acid, Castor Oil, Mineral Oil, White Wax, Petrolatum

So it's got a lot less Zinc oxide in it than the reg. Desitin at 40%.

(but I wouldn't get the creamy Desitin ointment with the aloe & Vit E, it might irritate)
