Guest guest
, Perhaps you can encourage your insurance company by letting them know that you would like to thank them publicly on television during the news segment that you will be on in a few weeks. Tell then that you need to know their response before the TV crews show up so that you will know what kind of thanks to give them. It may help them make their decision properly. Also, I am glad that you realize the first few days with the shoes and bar may not be much fun, but it does get easier, so hang in there. Guest guest
, Hooray for Lizzie!!! Even though we " won " our battle with the insurance company they have still not finished correcting our claims (this has been going on now since the middle of Nov.). Now it's " oh the paperwork was supposed to go to that department " , who then says " oh you need to speak to this person whose in charge of proper paper clipping then it needs to go to the stapling department but the head stapler has got the flu, but we're working on it, really we are " . We just keep logging everything down, we're getting there though. I think 's idea is great! Just know that we're here for you, if you have questions, need to vent, etc... I remember one day just getting so frustrated with the woman on the phone I wound up SCREAMING at her and I swear one of their " tactics " is to wear you down, so don't let them!!! Good luck with your insurance and I hope Lizzie adjusts to her shoes soon. Donna kson wrote: > > Hello Everybody, > Just thought I would let y'all know that Lizzy finally got out > of her casts. Guest guest
YEA for Lizzy!!! I remember r's first " real " bath. I was so excited, I took it with him. It does get easier with the shoes. Hopefully Lizzy will adjust quickly. Have fun with her beautiful feet! Have a Joyous Day! Guest guest
, That is so exciting!!! I'm so happy Lizzy's feet look so beautiful. Have fun with the baths and piggies. I hope Lizzy adjusts to the brace soon. They sure let you know when they're not happy with something, don't they? That is so neat about the station doing a follow up on her feet! I still need to send Rose's tape to Lori, too. Thanks for the reminder! Joy http://community.webtv.net/joybelle15/ROSESCLUBFOOTPAGE
Guest guest
, That's wonderful!!!! I know how nice it is to be done with the casts. Yes, it does take some time to adjust to the brace, but you'll make it. Jakob pretty much went into shut down mode (he slept a lot the first couple days he had it and would cry when awake especially the first day). If you have any questions about the brace, please ask. That's what we're here for. kson wrote: Hello Everybody, Just thought I would let y'all know that Lizzy finally got out of her casts. I have already read the advice on the bar and shoes and I am sure it will help. I just gave her a "real" bath for the first time in months and it felt great for me so I can't imagine how she felt. I guess that is why she got mad when I started dressing her! Had lots of trouble getting her shoes back on and that is what brought me to the advice page. We haven't heard from the insurance company yet. I hope they pay for all this. They sent me a letter a few weeks ago saying that they will have a desicion within 30 days. The tv station called again they want to do another story on her in a few weeks, I guess people are wondering how she is doing. When they do that I am going to send a copy to the Govenor. Since this insurance is his way of offering health coverage to working families that aren't offered insurance. Enough of my babbling.
