PULMO CALLED ME: subj. prednisone and antibiotic for cough

HEY EVERYONE:

remember yesterday I told you all that my cough has worsened over the

past few days, did not sleep hardly at all the last 2 nights because

of the rough cough, it is now hurting my lungs, the sound of

congestion is deafening, I called pulmo this a.m. early, we

talked!!!!!! He told me to continue with the prednisone and NOT to go

off it at all (30mg) day, also ordered " Z-PAC " AND TUSSIONEX

PENNKINETIC. chlorpheniramine and gydrocodo. 1 tsp. every 12 hrs. I

struggled to the store and am back now, took the meds. Pharmacist

said the liquid cough med has codiene in it and will prob make me

drowsy. But I am in for the wkend now.

I discussed with the pulmo my situation and course I am taking. I

asked him if there was anything else I need to be doing or not doing

and he said no, just continue as I am. He said he was sorry there

was no more at this time he could do. I am totally scared at this

point. I wasn't scared before. But am now. Let's see how these

meds do. I just don't feel right, but then, none of us do, right? I

am not forgetting you all precious ones, I just don't feel good, and

I know that is to be expected.
