Now I know this is not directly to me.....

She has said some very selfish and rude comments to me also so I willleave

it at that, I will be removig this web address from My daughters website

because as I said on her site " Check out some of these wonderful websites

with info on clubbed foot and other foot abnormalities " Well I feelt hat

this NO Surgery 4 clubbed foot well some of the people have been very rude

and NO help at all when someone is in need of just some one to talk to. You

know I thought htis was a support group! Well I guess not!

I too read all of the messages on this board and have very much enjoyed all

the possitive feedback and updates on all of the children. I found what you

said to be very hurtful in that what I orgionally had written as a response

to someone elses post (not even directed at Shanna) was not rude in any

nature and actually was inquiring on some insight to the different shoes

that were used. I don't see how anyone could have taken it out of context at

all. I do not appreciate being referred to as " infantile " when I tried so

hard to explain to Shanna my possiton on the matter and that I had never

said any rude remarks to her or her daughter. When someone directly posts to

me with such rudeness, I will respond and I believe my responses were

justified and I kept them quite informative and not petty. I would not want

to be involved in a reason for someone to leave this board, but there have

been other times that situations have been discussed and I felt they were

off the subject or unessessary and I simply chose not to be a part of it and

read other posts. I'm sorry you or anyone else for that matter feels so

strongly about the fact that different personalities are going to once in

awhile " not connect " , it does'nt mean we all can't talk, that's why I

suggested to Shanna that we leave this one alone! I hope you reconsider and

stay on the group, you're right, it's a great place most of the time. I

myself will only be posting when I get direct email or have an update on my

Windie,

Please don't go. I'm sorry that some posts seem to have gotten

combative. That is not what I intended for this group at all. I want

this to be a place where we can share our progress and even our problems

should we have them.

Everyone,

We all have our own experiences. That's all we can share on this list

(or anywhere else we post about our children having clubfoot). Please

keep in mind that we don't see the facial expressions and hear the vocal

tones that we are so used to in our offline lives. I seriously doubt

anyone on this list means to offend anyone else, but sometimes things

can be taken the wrong way. If this happens to you, maybe send the

person in question a note off the list and clarify what was being said.

I hate to think that we can't all be friends.

I find that rather unfair. I have seen many people offer you support

and information. It's your decision, though, but I think you may have

hurt many people's feelings in that statement.

This is my point exactly here everyone! If you read the reply she had given

to me.... " Well I wasnt talking about Zowie now was I " Now how would you

take that????? To me it sounded as rude as it was!

Well so be it then becuase what I dont understand here is that so far a few

people have referred to me as taking things soooo personaly and as far as

that goes I mean heck well I think alot of us do here when someone says

something about a childs feet looking so funny if they were wearing their

shoes on the wrong feet so how is that so different than the DBB? I ask

that. SO if you all want to give support and so on well I dont think it is

fair for people on this borad to come at me like that and have an attitude

even if I didnt understand what Holly was saying about her daughter so I am

sorry for not reading the post right but I thought that is why we have ALL

emails come to us so we can give our thoughts or is this not what it is for?

Are we only supposed to give replies to those who POST to US??? I guess I

dont understand the rules here. If you go bcak and read what was said and I

dont think I sounded to harsh when I replied about Zowie s shoes being on

the wrong feet so I think all of you should go back and read what was said

from the first point when Holly was talking about the shoes for her

daughter.... Then you tell me who had bit the others head off first and if I

was wrong if I had takin that TOOO personaly Because It WAS directed at MY

daughter and I didnt agree!
