I had spotting in the early weeks due to the fact of my cervix being so rich

with blood. It usually happened after we had sex. As long as the blood isn't

a bright red. (and it looks kinda like that brownish color) you should be

okay. But call your dr anyways, just for peace of mind!!

I will keep you and baby in my prayers I know how unsettling this can

be. Dont think the worst, and listen to the doctor...

I know how scary this is personally. I started spotting at 6 weeks also. I

RUSHED to my doctor and he said that it was COMPLETELY normal as the fetus

implants deeper into the uterus. If it gets heavy then they get concerned, but

some spotting is normal, but always let your doctor know.

I am exactly 6 weeks by ovulation today.

Did any of you have spotting early in the pregnancy, but everything turn out

OK?

Yep, Donna. I was about 11 weeks along when I had spotting. When I called

the OB they said that as long as there was no clotting, not to worry...just

rest. Well, within 5 minutes or so there was clotting, so I called them

back on my way to the ER. They did u/s and a vaginal. Everything was AOK.

My placenta was about an inch from my cervical opening. Plus, I had done

quit a bit of house work the day before. They attributed the bleeding to

over extending myself.

I'm praying for you!

Hi Donna! I did have early spotting with this pregnancy - at about 9 weeks.

I demanded a vaginal ultrasound and all was well.

Good luck to you!!

Hi Francisco,

Thanks for your encouragement. Actually, I am remarkably calm

- nowhere near as worried or scared as I thought I'd be. Maybe that

will come later, but I've spent a lot of time getting to this point and

I feel pretty confidant that things will go well.

I'm not posting much these days because I have a lot to do before Monday

- but I do want everyone to know that I truly appreciate all the good wishes

and prayers.

Take care,

Kay

Pat, I hope you're doing well. You're such a trail blazer

Kay, I know your day is next week. I hope you're not getting

too

worried or frightened. Take is easy and know that you'll

do fine.

And before you know it, you'll be on the other side. May

your

surgery and recovery be uneventful and smooth.
