Guest guest
, that is what my rheumy has me taking, 1,500 mg of calcium and to take it with vitamin D. I was told that only 500 mg of calcium can be absorbed at a time. So I take it three times a day and it is important to take it with food. Guest guest
the calcium is to prevent osteoporosis and calcium isn't absorbed unless it is taken with vit D. Last night I saw my new doc and he insisted that I take folic acid so now guess who is totally confused Love and Gentle Hugs, Angie to have a letter from Santa, or one of his elves sent to your child please write to elfieluvsU@... http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/SantaLetters http://www.geocities.com/acenneno_1999 http://rpolychondritis.tripod.com/index.html http://members.tripod.com/~autoimmune
Guest guest
Regular vitamins make my stomach ache a little, so for 6 months I was on chewable GNC dinobytes in grape...not too yucky Try mixing the crushed chewable into applesauce or yogurt or pudding...use maybe 2 tablespoonfuls and crush it really fine...or even crush them really fine, dissolve into the amt. of hot broth or tea you can drink in one sitting...even if it takes you half an hour...sip it and just make sure it doesn't settle into the cup. Vitamins Any suggestions? I get so nauseated when I take the children's chewables. Can I break a regular vitamin into tiny pieces and take with water? Thanks, Donna
Guest guest
Since before surgery, I've had to take Flintstones Complete with Iron, Calcium and Minerals. I think this covers everything. I take two every day. 432/384/170 Lap RNY 6/20/03 --- In Gastric_Bypass_Family , " Becky Barlow " <barlow_becky@y...> wrote: > Does anyone know which vitamins I should get: Flinestones w/iron or with calcium? And we are suppose to eat breakfast, lunch, supper....what about snacks and what should they be? Wolfie Hey girl Here is what I am currently eating Breakfast Vitamins 2 ounces of apple or cranberry juice with half water some sugar free Jello about 2 ounces maybe a little more or less Snack Good old fashioned spring water about 2-3 ounces this is water loading and it keeps you full until a proper next meal Lunch 2-4 ounces of cream of chicken soup no other liquids this soup fills me real good and I am good for many many hours. Snack You guessed it water again fill up all you need and you will be good until dinner time. Dinner I can either have another 2-3 ounces of a cream soup or I usually just have a little more Jello and 2 ounces of juice with water of crystal light or sugar free Tang. Throughout the night I keep a glass of ice water by my bed so that whenever I wake up I take a few sips it really helps to cleanse you out and keeps the gas build up low well at least for me it does and remember you are hydrating your body a good thing Hope this helps Lori Anne post op Lap RNY 8/25/03 274/261/
