Simply don't have the stamina.

Thanks Sandie...I'm better today. I get those slumps when I see the Dr. every three months. Helps me to monitor how near "acceptance" I am. Not there yet but that's ok too. Life is a journey not a destination and I'm still on my journey!

Sounds to me like you're making a very sensible decision for your

situation and your thinking. You've heard the arguments and reached a

conclusion for yourself. We're all in different situations and thats

why I hope when people here us talking about our choices the don't

jump to the conclusion we are saying its right for them.

Bruce...I find that just facing our own mortality is a tough enough thing to do. Making arrangements to DIE and so on.

IPF accelerates looking at our mortality. Geez, I've had enough drama in my life.

Yes it does....and I think in your own way you've accepted at least the

possibility, but you've certainly not surrendered to it and thats

important. I'm somewhat the same in that I made all arrangements

relative to my mortality and now, while I use oxygen, I'm not letting

IPF keep me from enjoying life. I continue to think ahead too just as I

otherwise would have. One difference is I may focus more on making the

most of each day-something I already should have been doing.

You mentioned drama in your life. I think something about timing is

that I couldn't have dealt with this on top of other things a year or

two years earlier. So, thankful that I was in a mental and emotional

state to be ok when diagnosed.
