I think that my DH would like to buy me some for Christmas or my birthday. I saw somewhere that Family Tree Maker was good - is this the best or some other one. I would like to drop the right hints!! I was recommended Family Tree Maker by Joyce - I had a look and it looks fantastic - though at £35 was a little more than I was planning to spend on a birthday present for my mum, so bought her a cheaper one. I may well go back though and buy myself the Family Tree Maker. (Does this make me sound rotten - won't spend that much on my own mother but prepared to spend it on myself? I'm not really a meanie - it's just that this software probably does far more than my parents would ever need it to do...)
