Guest guest
HI Joanna, Thank you for the update on Riquent. I hope that the FDA will approve it. I would like so much if there were more options for us other than things which are toxic or have so many side effects. How are you feeling? Are you making your way back from the last treatment? I'm scheduled to go again April 4th. My digestive tract has been so blocked up since my Jan. 3rd tx. I think my liver, lungs, and intestines are suffering and I'm not sure how much more Cytoxan I can tolerate. THis will be my 8th tx, and I'm praying for it to be my last. I also get another injection of Lupron next week to keep me in menopause and hope that will be a factor in keeping the lupus at bay. With both the lupron and cytoxan, I hope to give the lupus a good 'ole 1, 2, 3 PUNCH! I saw my chiropracter/naturopath a few days ago. With her treatment and some enzymes and a supplement for adrenal support(our adrenals sit on our kidneys and are involved with hormone balance), I am feeling better and finally flowing, if you catch my drift. I am going to do a liver cleanse under her instruction in a couple weeks and hope to be in good shape before April tx. I am almost constantly reading about healing or herbs or treatments for lupus. I just read " Living Well with Autoimmune Disease " by J. Shomon and am now further researching some of the possible herbs and treatments. I also have been listening to Belleruth Naparstek's guided meditation for rheumatoid arthritis or lupus and think it is helping. Look forward to hearing back from you and thanks again for the update!
