I received information from the JCC on Palisades on two workshops...

The first one is " The Biomedical Approach to PDD,Autism and other Realated

Conditions " =a biomedical approach to PDD,ASD and other related conditions

attempts to identify and restore the underlying biomedical changes associated

with the symptoms of these disorders. Helps parents help children live more

productive lives.Speaker:Peta Cohen,MS,RD,Founder and Director of Total Life

Center(Holistic Wellness Center). The Workshop is Monday, October 7th

@7:30-9:00PM

The second one is an " Introduction to EEG Neurofeedback " =a learning program

for brain wave training that uses computer technology.It is a non-invasive

,non-medication alternative treatment for ADD?ADHD,anxiety and panic

disorders,mood disorders,sleep disorders, OCD,and autistic spectrum

disorders. The speaker is Dr. Anya Luchow Lieberman who is a

psycho;ogist,neurotherapist and mediator in private paractice.She facilitates

and lectures parenting groups for Special Needs children with physical

disabilities,PDD,ADD/ADHD. The workshop is Tuesday,December 10th,7:30-9:00PM.
