Go for it . Who cares what anyone else thinks. And no matter what your

mother might say, if your personality comes over as it does in your emails, no

one will be thinking about what you look like, just rivetted by what you have to

say.

Alison

P.S. - you'll have to video it for us poor deprived terrestrials!

You may remember there was a post on announce a while back asking for

people who had had unusual birth experiences to contact a tv company. Well

I emailed and said I didn't mind talking about my c-section with dd2 and

pre-eclampsia as the section was v. calm (unlike previous two) and I think

its important that people understand about pre-eclampsia. They've just

phoned and are coming to film on Thursday. Have now got bad attack of cold

feet - it was nerve wracking last time when the Beeb did that budget

coverage thing and then only showed a tiny part (and my mother was so

horrible about my weight I don't think I'll tell her about this one!!!).

Also, I'm a bit concerned its going to turn into some sort of scary horror

stories about birth- although to be fair Carys' section was one of the most

healing experiences of my life. Also do I want my antenatal clients seeing

this? Oh bum, don't know what to do now. I was hoping to get lots of

plugs for nct in and wear my lovely nct polo shirt so thats a good reason

to do it but..but..but... What do you think?

Ha, ha, have just read original post and its by the same people who made

Special Babies for ITV - didn't see that did any of you, what was it like?

Anyway this one is for UK Living which we don't have and neither do many

people I know so maybe I'm safe.

Go for it !

And if they do film in your house, take a quick look and see whats in the

background, with my butterfly mind I always seem to focus on the book

cases/walls/photos........

Go for it, if they're a reputable company!

I've got it too but only ever switch on for Tiny Living (not for

myself you

understand). Make sure you tell us when it's to be broadcast.
