Guest guest
> Are you feeling more relaxed now Helen? Yes thanks. My midwife assured me that she'd get to me somehow and if I needed to transfer to hospital we'd have to call an ambulance. I actually went and bought some petrol today - queued for 1h and got £20 worth (I know I don't need a full tank). I can't belive how selfish some people are being - 2 young guys in a BMW at the pump in front of me filled it to capacity and then continued to fill 6 petrol cans too!!!! I told them they were selfish b*****ds as I drove past. Helen

Guest guest
Sent DH out to Safeways to buy some Calpol this evening (Safeways being on the other side of town from us, but the only place with a pharmacy open in the evening) and was getting rather worried when he didn't return for 90 minutes. Apparently their petrol station had had a delivery of petrol and there was a massive queue just to get into the place, whether you wanted petrol or not. Guest guest
IIRC it is illegal to store more than 3 gallons at home. I was going to say I hoped it caught on fire but actually, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Lets just hope they have holes in their cans and it all drains away. Every cloud has a silver lining, too. Since The Crisis, the town my mum lives in has been wonderfully peaceful each evening without the loons driving their souped up bangers round in endless circles all the time!! Guest guest
Apologies to all who live in derby but INMSHO, the best thing that could happen to Derby is for the whole place to be demolished!! I loathed it with a vengeance, probably one of the unhappiest times of my life. The fact I had PNd is immaterial! Best thing about it was jessop's of Nottingham.......where I guess I may have seen Sue's mum, for all I know!
