Guest guest
Hi - you're not far from Gravesend branch - come over the Dartford bridge and turn left down the A2. Also not far from Bexley branch and - over the bridge and turn right! Lesley Moor Gravesend (sounds like we might have enough for an egroups coffee meeting in the east from london region soon) Mansfield wrote: > I'm Mansfield of the Havering Branch in Region 5. I live in Upminster, which is actually Essex (yes, I am that Essex girl!) although Havering is a London Borough and we're only 6 miles north of Kent. That's my geography for you. In my branch I am coffee group leader for Upminster, publicity officer, member of the fundraising team and a trainee breastfeeding counsellor. My husband has just become the Newsletter editor.(I let him think it was his idea - he likes playing with the computor). We have two children - a boy of three and a girl of 15 months, and are practicing for the next - make of that what you will.......

Guest guest
We arrive on Sat 14th and leave on 21st. Any day suits me, as I've not planned anything yet........I'm awaiting your instructions! We think we will visit the infamous Dome one day, if it is still open (half price tickets seem widely available...do you have to book in advance or can you just turn up on the day and still get half price entrance?) Other activities will be seeing various family members, a shopping day (DD1 wants to go to Bluewater again.) Maybe a day trip to France (so DD1 can tell her friends she went abroad for the Oct hols), a visit to the Tower of London (DD1 again) Lesley --------------------------------------------------------------------- _-> Over to you, Lesley! Guest guest
Shall we go for the Thursday morning? Zachary will be at school full-time then, so I won't have to dash out to collect him and doesn't have nursery that morning, again giving me the whole day (well at least until 3) without having to a school run. Guest guest
You wouldn't dare suggest that on the slimmers list, ! OK as some will have to travel a bit, how about a pot luck lunch? is obviously providing dessert, so how about if everyone brings a little something savoury? Lesley R - you are excused this bit. Don't know if it's changed, but it was definitely by prior booking only earlier in the year. There was a story in the paper months ago about a mum +2 kids who came all the way down from Manchester on a day trip thinking they'd get tickets at the door. What a disappointment.
