An interesting bit of info re this.

The baby powder that has corn starch in it is NEVER to be used to set [our]

clown makeup. The corn starch in it will crumble and flake and turn white make

up yellow!

ONLY the baby powder that is 100% talc is ok. Maybe checking the labels to get

only 100% talc would be ok to use?

As far as I know, that only applies to the crotch/groin region for

women; talcum powder used there has been linked to increased cervical

cancer.

I very much doubt that using talc to set clown face makeup is dangerous,

unless you are silly enough to inhale a cloud of it!
