Guest guest Posted September 14, 2003 Report Share Posted September 14, 2003 Hello.. l have had Diabetes for almost 10 yrs.. but just in the past 6 months gat to point that l need Insulin Humolog and Lantus.. tried oral meds but did wired things to my body.. l have also had tripple Aortic bypass in 98..and single open heart bypass in 2000 ..also have a stents in beside the surgeries.. and right now on Procrit 8000 units a week to build red bloodcells back up my Hemoglobin goes down to 7-8 and want go back up.. the GI..doc found me bleeding inside my stomac..very slowly but steady he says.. So these days l feel like the walking PX.. just taking pills..pills and shooting up meds.. as you se l have a wired sense of humor.. but l tell you it helps me cope with all this.. l am an 59 yr..old spunky Norwegian living in Kansas City..Missouri .. married 29..yrs..2 grown kids.. and have wonderfull support from my family.. Well it is pilltime for the morning and test time..so l better get it done.. Nice to meet you all.. Have a great Sunday and we talk later...
