Guest guest
Hi Tonia, Please make sure that even with the flu you must take your Topamax or Neurontin or whatever if you are on a seizure type medicine. IF not you can go into awful withdrawals very quickly including a semi coma which is what happened to me four times! This is why I am urgently writing that you stay on those meds no matter how you get them down!Felice

That doctor was in New York City so I manage to get rude doctors no matter where I go. Glad that means I can stay in sunny Florida which is 81 degrees at 11 AM today. Guest guest
Good Afternoon Everyone, Oh I just love this group. It is wonderful how much support there is in just one place. Thank you all for the generous thoughts. and Barbara, thank you for the understanding about wanting desperately at times, to be alone. You are absolutely right Barbara about parents worrying so much that they without meaning too sometimes, make a bad situation worse. If I get one more e-mail from Dad asking me if I have made my Urology appointment yet, I am going to SCREAM!!!! LOL I know it is their love and pure devotion though that has kept me alive this long so, you are right they are doing the very best they can. Tonia, you are absolutely without a doubt a real trip. You are just fantastic. Even when your life is turning upside down, you can make me laugh out loud. Mainly because I am feeling the same way you are but, you are just one of these people that can paint a picture in someone's brain by telling a story. It is wonderful to read your posts. Even though you are really serious a lot or most of the time, I was hoping it would make you feel a bit better to know that someone reads what you says and really hears you. I am so glad that you are feeling better and I hope that you get to your appointment tonight and get your medication. Everyone else, I hope this has been a nice day for you. Hopefully there has been a lot of pain free minutes and even a few smiles. Talk to you all soon. Sincerely, Dawn
Guest guest
Dawn - Thanks for your post and your appreciation. The more I thought about what you had to say about your folks, I started to think about how my parents might have reacted to all of this if they were still alive. I adored them.....make no mistake....but I would have actually keeled over from suffocation. I tend to be a bit of an ostrich about pain....It usually serves me well. Breathing room is a GOOD thing (with apologies to Martha ). BarbaraDawn wrote: Good Afternoon Everyone, Oh I just love this group. It is wonderful how much support there is in just one place.
