Guest guest
It is a rubber cup that you use instead of a tampon to catch the menstrual fluids. It is supposed to be more healthy for your vaginal flora, doesn't dry everything up like tampons do, and is more ecologically friendly. We had a long discussion on it ages ago and I bought one to try. Unfortunately I found it uncomfortable and I am afraid my menstrual fluids were all too much for it. It leaked and I was filling it in a couple of hours - which I understand is unusual. So I used it for about 4 days and then gave up on it. As a consequence it has disappeared somewhere - probably will turn up all fluffy when our house swap people are here. Mind you that isn't as bad as Emma coming downstairs sucking on my sisters love balls which she had bought as a joke and had forgotten about. Eeeeurgh!!! Problem was that Emma liked them and thought they were a present so had to be removed after bedtime and disposed of. Sue H Eternally grateful to Lillet who have now brought out a super plus extra size tampon now! The 's wrote: > OK Sue or or anyone, > What is this keeper? Guest guest
>I can't get this page, is the address correct? Sorrrry... Www.allabouteve.co.uk It's a BBC publication. It seems as though lots of the letters and features have been taken straight from the website but I haven't looked at the site yet to confirm it. -- Sue
Guest guest
In message <011e01c01b37$8ffdcca0$afbc883e@ixf7a>, Barbara Wyant writes >Surprised that Bob Flowerdew hasn`t mentioned it on GQT! He hasn't but the late Geoff Hamilton used to talk about composting loos and how the addition of menstrual blood to that and the compost heap made for a particularly good fertiliser... I went to college with various people who were known to squat on the garden during monthlies. For some reason rather disgusted me at the time, then I got more into the anthropology and Modern Primitives et al. At this point I realised that, strictly speaking, I was far weirder than they... -- Helen Armfield The undercover Goth who has two 'holes' now but used to have far more!!
