Christi,

I know your post below is from yesterday, so I

am a little late in giving my feedback, but

here's the scoop on ketosis and using the ketosis

strips:

If the strip shows any change at all (even the

lightest pink), it means that you are in ketosis.

Being in ketosis is like being pregnant: you either

are are you aren't... there is no such thing as

being a little bit in ketosis. Your body either

is burning fat as its fuel or it isn't; it's a

yes or no thing. And that's good, because your

strips are showing ketosis! Way to go...

You do NOT want to get to the darkest level on

the strip... even the second darkest is not a good

thing. What that would mean is that you are very

dehydrated and probably not drinking enough water.

If you are drinking between a half-gallon and a

gallon of water per day, you will never get past

" moderate " (the middle level) on your sticks.

The darker your sticks are, the less weight you

will lose! A friend of mine was showing dark on

her sticks all the time (she didn't drink any

water during the day, and instead drank three

diet cokes), and she never lost a pound. You

need a lot of water to flush the fat out of your

body.

Sorry for the long, rambling post... but I wanted

to give you the information that I have; I hope

it helps you!

Bye now,

Mike
