Guest guest
I've just been out and bought a couple of cartons of ready made formula milk!! Lord knows what possessed me, (though I blame you lot!), but we are now the proud parents of a tiny tabby kitten, age 81\2 weeks. The formula milk in question is Whiskas but I have to say, it did hurt having to buy Friskies (aka Nestlé) kitten biscuits, but that was all I could buy at this time of night locally. Lesley (hoping for a peaceful night!)

Guest guest
Lesley The " kitten milk " which you were probably looking to buy is ridiculously expensive. The modification it has is " latose reduced " or words to that effect. Anyway you can buy the same thing " lactose reduced " milk in the Devil Section - ie Carnation milk area, In cartons at half the price of those with a kitten on the front. IIRC Tesco do their own lactose reduced milk. Fiona Feeder of two cats - cost damn all to get and have been nothing but expense and trouble to look after. Worse than bloomin' kids. Guest guest
Oh but its fun shopping for kitty things and I'd rather buy Whiskas than Carnation, if that is also a nestle product. Our other cat doesn't have milk as it upsets her tummy so I plan to wean this one off milk pretty soon and onto Adam's Ale. Thanks forth tips anyway...sadly Tesco not convenient for me, I wish it were! Lesley ------------- Fiona wrote...The " kitten milk " which you were probably looking to buy is ridiculously expensive. Guest guest
" Hammy " glories in the (current) name of Three Names. Was originally Spikey, due to rather unorthodox hair style, then became Dozey, cos she sleeps a lot(!), and then Clever, obviously ironic. DS2 (whose hamster she is) kept forgetting which name she was meant to be called and so renamed her Three Names (was not impressed when I pointed out that this actually brought to total up to 4). No, Whiskas is kosher from the anti-Nestle point of view (Mars owned), it is Friskies(inc Felix) that is Nestle owned. -- Vaudin jennifer@...
