ATKINS !! Good thing, I would have anyway

Hi nan

I am going to have my Thyroid tested next time I go to the doctor. I have suspected for a while that I might have a thyroid problem and now you have given me more reason to be suspicious....my eyebrows are a little thin on the edges.

Thanks

Nan,

It's so good to see you having time to post more often! You have been sorely missed!

And, it's good to know that your turtle-paced weight loss may have an easy medical solution. You've worked so hard, you deserve a lucky break. I hope that the thyroid medications you'll be taking will start taking those pounds right off!

Be SURE to keep us posted!

Terry

Did learn something new tho ( pay attn) .....people , particularly women, with thyroid problems will have eyebrows that go about only half way across. She pointed out mine, they do start normal at the inner edge, and about half way thin to almost nothing.

Hmmmm, I don't have that problem, never had, even with all my thyroid problems, although my levels were never abnormal. I had cysts on my thyroid and had two separate surgeries to remove most of my thyroid. I have a small portion left and am on 0.125 mg daily. My eyebrows have always been "normal".

Hi ! Long time so "see" ! I was quoting what my very young female doctor said....I had never heard of this before either.

But them my thyroid level was 59, WAY TOO HIGH.And I had not been on meds for over 30 years like I should have been (and would have been but for a quack doc who said if I wasn't having any symptoms I didn't need it.

How've you been girl??

Thanks Robin...I've had brain fog lately, and especially this morning! The good old withdrawal headache set in about 3 a.m. and I can't even type with one hand let alone two, lol.

And caffiene withdrawal isn't helping much.

hugs,

Hi, Brat. To whom are you addressing that you have Graves'? Is that news,

or have

you had it for some time? Just curious. I may have to go through more

thorough

thyroid testing soon, and am wondering. Hugs, MM
