Have been watching I love 1970s series. Compulsive viewing in this house.

Anyway tonight's programme faded out with Young Hearts Run Free - please

someone remind me, who was the singer?

Caught the second half of the prog too. It was Candi Statton.

Looking forward to next Saturday - 1977 & Star Wars!

Thanks again Lesley!

I've loved this series and wish it was on for 2 hours. It's made me really

glad to have been around then or maybe everyone feels like this about their

teenage decade. Born in '60 this is all my teenage years and it just looks

such great fun. Weren't the adverts good for brutus jeans and yorkie? They

still made me feel like I wanted to go out and get some right now.

Yes, yes! Remember dishy Lord Dundas who wrote and sang the

brutus jeans

song? - corrr. And that icky, yucky lip gloss. My era too - born in

62. I

have so many memories from that hot summer - even hot in Aberdeen!

If anyone is hankering after the 70s and 80s, we are having a disco here

(to raise money for the NCT of course) on Saturday 23rd of September. £7

includes 4 hours of boogying and fish & chips. Mail me off list if you

are interested. It's happening in Bagshot, just off J3 of the M3.

Maura.
