Guest guest
Also does anyone here really know if the darker the ketostick the more you Sue I tend to believe that the darker it is the more you lose. Mine was in the darkest range despite drinking 2 liters of water a day and I lost 70 lbs in right about 7 months. That is pretty fast to lose that......my sticks stayed dark from day 3 until December. But now I've upped my carbs and I'm not losing but not gaining but I'm no longer in ketosis. That's just my opinion though.
Guest guest
Sue yes those bars are tricky. I eat them without problem but I think alot of people do have some sort of intolerance when it comes to them. Everyone is different, I can't have peanuts but I'm sure there are people who could eat them all day and not have a problem.

AND 2 nights this week I had an atkins bar around 8:30-9 and when I tested around 9:30-10 it was showing I wasn't in keotosis. I guess YMMV huh. ;o) Sue H 214/198.5/175 3/9/
Guest guest
Sue, I'm the same as you. When I drink a lot of water (over a gallon per day), then I barely test positive and then only in the morning when I first get up. If I cut back on water, I test dark ketosis all day. I saw the post where they said on the cruise ship that darker ketosis means more weight loss. OTOH, sometimes someone will post that their sticks are dark purple but they haven't lost any weight for a long time, like a month, despite staying on the diet. So some other factor has to be important, too. Lynn Sue Huls wrote: > > so is anyone taking this supplement. > > Also does anyone here really know if the darker the ketostick the more you > loose? Guest guest
I'm a big believer in vitamens. I have always taken them. I think we really need them being that we don't eat fruit ect. Dr. Atkins does reccommend that you take supplements. Laverne think spring
Guest guest
Kate I would like to know also, since I was not loosing pound wise, but since I introduced more fat I lost 2 pounds, weird, but I'm happy. Now for dessert or snack I'm eating the "jello fluff" and its mostly fat, cream cheese, whip cream, cottage cheese and a small amout of jello, but it's goood, easy to make last for 3 or 4 days.. fd ---- Original Message ----- From: Kate To: Atkins_Support_List Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2001 9:48 PM Subject: Re: CO Q-10 was:cruise ship Oh, Oh..... I have been burning pretty good, but not losing. Does this mean that I should be watching (reducing) the amount of fat I am eating? If this is the case, how does the Fat Fast work since it is about 90% fat. How does that help the slow losers lose weight? Kate
