Guest guest
I was having a great time with the 4'4 " . I'm 5' 11 " and I was trying to imagine the height difference. The thing that amazes me is the difference in sizes. I'm 5' 11 " and 188 and a size 16. There was someone on the list a little shorter and the same weight but two sizes smaller. I was so sad. Then my size went down but not my weight. Then my weight and not my size....It's weird. Must be density and distribution. LIsa

Guest guest
Yes, I was always told I was big boned. I think because I was tall and fat. My very petite neighbour wears a larger ring and bracelet then I do so I guess I really am small boned. There went that excuse. Now I can look forward to being tall and slim. My goal weight is 165 but that is only about twenty pounds away (yikes) and I can see a lot more than 20 lbws of fat left. I'll just weight and see. Guest guest
I am wearing a size 14 - sometimes a size 12, if the cut is right. But mostly size 14 - but they fit very nicely and some of them are quite loose. I do have large bones - I know everyone who wants to be in the normal range on the weight chart says that. But I wear a size 9 shoe and size 8 rings. And it's really hard to find a bracelet that will fit around my wrist. Anyway, I still need to lose another 20 pounds, I think. But, if I lost 10, I might change my mind. I woudl love to get back in my 12's. I have so many neat suits, etc. in size 12. Henri in Dallas 184/170/148 (LC 8/14/00) Hey Henri.... Guest guest
: That is strange about the size differential. When I was at 184, I was still wearing size 14, but they were getting very tight and I was wearing more gathered, elastic waist type things that didn't really conform to a size 14. I just refused to buy a size 16 - that's what got me started seriously on Atkins. So, now I'm on the border of 12, but can't seem to actually get there. That's interesting. I guess all our bodies are just arranged differently..... Henri in Dallas 184/170/148 (LC 8/14/00) I was having a great time with the 4'4 " . Guest guest
Henri Thanks for the reply....that's exactly the size I'm running.....14, 12 if the cut is right. I'm in a 14 petite and I'm really excited about that since you are supposed to go up one size when you wear a petite. I dont have the problem with the bracelets but it still sounds like we are about the same size.
Guest guest
I did buy a size 14 pair of shorts and jeans last weekend. THey fit but 16 is more comfortable for a few more pounds I think. I did wear the 14 jeans to a show last weekend and they were fine. LISa > > : > > That is strange about the size differential. Guest guest
Marlena - I agree. I have very large hands. My piano teacher says she's jealous because I can easily reach a 10th. But, small, medium of large boned - I still want to lost that other 20 pounds!! (LOL) Henri in Dallas 184/170/148 (LC 8/14/00)
