Guest guest
Hey all--- Thought I\'d send a note to you all, and let you know that I am still among the living and I have been thinking about you.... I have not been around lately, therefore I haven\'t had a chance to get a new computer yet... :-( I continue to check my email when I can at the Domestic Abuse Shelter that I work at... I recently went on vacation with my parents and sister and her kids, there were seven people in the mini van... UGHHHHHHHH...... We drove to Des Moines, Iowa and went to a theme park there called Adventureland... We also drove to Omaha Nebraska and went to the zoo there... I got my share of walking in.... we had a blast... but you know how sun affects all of us. well needless to say I have paid the price for that fun, but It was worth it, and I\'d do it again, just to see the pleasure on my daughter\'s face..... I have been sleeping alot since I have been back, which I knew I would do but oh well... SUCH IS LIFE...... :-( I am glad to here Aisha is doing well since her surgery. I will be monitoring here at the domestic abuse shelter on Thursday nite, which is tomorrow nite, so if anyone wants to chat I will go in the chat room that night to see if anyone is there... I know it\'s not a Friday nite, but I won\'t be around on Friday.. Take care of you all..... I was so glad to hear from Pat...... I hope she is reading this too... I miss chatting with her.. I miss chatting with everyone....... Take care.. Love ya all from Iowa...
Guest guest
and , I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son from the Charge web sight. My husband and I lost our son Cameron, (not CHARGEr) 6 years ago after having surgery for a blockage that was found in his intestine. We now have an 8 year old son Austin, 4 year old son , and a 5 week old Whitney, (CHARGEr). We haven't been apart of the Charge website for long, and so we were not able to follow your full story. I don't know if you are religious people, but for us, the death of our son was very difficult, yet, the most spiritual time of our lives. God bless your family. With heart felt love and understanding, DeAnn Wells.
Guest guest
, Thanks for your post. We're glad to hear from you. Have you and started any fun groups yet? He is just six months old (wow), but I know some places begin at that age. Local churches and community centres often have inexpensive classes, which provide opportunities for the moms to get together with other moms while the babies get more stimulation. When you're ready, it would be worth looking into these things. It sounds weird, but connecting with other moms when Penina was small provided me with tremendous comfort and a sense of normalcy (even though in no way could they possible related to my world), even while I was grieving. Best of luck to you, Anne, mom of Penina (CHARGE, 7) maryechick12@... wrote: > just wanted to let everyone know and I are doing ok I am still > lurking on the list LOL > mom to CHARGE 9/3/01-8/3/03 (wow is that second part tough to > write) and 3/27/03 > > http://community.webtv.net/maryechick12/ >
