It is very hard to keep up with the tons of posts, but I can usually catch them here and there, but haven't seen one from her lately. Also....is there any " thyroid " reason that my legs ankles would be swelling? Other than the normal...it is very hot here and normal summertime if you don't drink enough water woes? Guest guest Posted July 18, 2004 Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 Hi, Kat, Yes, swollen ankles are well known in hypo kingdom. We automatically think we're eating too much salt. But some have found that they are swelling in an attempt to hold onto salt. So if you don't have high blood pressure problems, you might try adding a little salt to your drinking water and see if it makes a difference. in Va.
