Wow, that is cool! My best friend, who I met from the Moms Online Boards from

December, and then IRL, also lives up in Tacoma. I was just up there not too

long ago!

I don't make it up there as much as I would like, but sure next time I am

near there, I will let you know and maybe we could do lunch or something.

Also TEMPORARLIY, I don't have a car anymore, but Dh says we should be able

to afford a down payment soon, so that would help things out too! LOL!!

But we will have to work on something after I get a car again!

My birthday is Oct. 28 and I got Halloween cakes, theme parties and I hated

it! My poor Mom never knew b/c I never told her. I guess it wasn't ALWAYS,

but often enough to bug me. I mean...black and orange for a little girl just

didn't cut it for me. I wanted pink roses, etc. Well, it is fine

now...really, I'm over it. <BG>

When I turned 15, my birthday was also on Mother's Day, and I got in SUCH a

huge fight with my mom, because SHE wanted me to spend the day with her, and

I wanted to go out with my friends.

But I am glad I decided to stay and spend it with her, and hopefully Lexi

will someday do the same thing for me!

hublets birthday is the day before Valentines Day & I always used to

bake/buy him heart shaped cakes...one day he asked me not to.

He doesn't like them at all, LOL!

But now that I am a mother myself, I would probably felt the same way my

mother did.

But at the time all I could think was it was " MY " birthday, and that my

birthday was ALWAYS on May 9th, I only share Mother's day every seven

years.....and *I* wanted to have my party, with my friends not my mom......

And I am not sure If I want to celbrate any more after this one either, but I

am sure I will!
