Guest guest
Hello all! If you are using betadine and having problems with it--you might like to try Hibiclens--also antibacterial; used in treating wounds (cleansing) and surgery. It's a pleasant pink color with no detectable fragrance for those of you bothered by perfumes in formulas. Right now I'm using the Hibiclens to treat an itchy " athlete's foot " --cleansing with at least once a day Carol PLATOALSO@... wrote: > I am not in the health care field, but excess iodine in the form of Betadine > solution or Clinidine solution or other generic names, can cause thyroid test > abnormalities. > > Thyroxine is formed from iodine molecules, and an excess may cause problems. > > YMMV. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > eGroups.com home: /group/rosacea-support > - Simplifying group communications
