Guest guest
Mike, I've had this problem over the past year - I call it " potatoe feet " (Indiana spelling). My neurologist shrugs. I don't have swelling anywhere else (other than calves, ankles, and feet). It comes and goes, just like you described. I also notice that there is " pitting edema " (if you " poke " your index finger into a swollen area for 5 seconds, it takes around 30 seconds for the dent to go away). I believe it is also called " dorsal swelling " of the feet (Lyme symptom) - there is no swelling in the bottom of my feet. The only thing I have found, or not found, is that it may have something to do with hydration and/or sitting too long (circulation). If it isn't PLS then we both have whatever it is! B.
