I haven't noticed a reduction yet in my puffy face (I am thin otherwise) but am hoping that it just that the hormone is not yet optimized. > Maybe it's the T3. I just know one day I looked in the mirror and noticed my neck had slimmed down. A while later I noticed it in my face. I suppose I could search the board for all my messages and find when I posted the finding, but I have slow internet. I began Armour the first of February. Blessings, Debbie K. Guest guest Posted August 5, 2004 Report Share Posted August 5, 2004 In addition to the puffy face, I have noticed (in seeing pictures of myself) that my eyes look a little funny - like I'm popping them out somehow ever so slightly. It's the same stuff that can initially start the Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, although, if the thyroid goes untreated long enough, that set of tendons, etc..that run through the wrist will become enlarged from the " squeeze " put on them. Its called Thyroid/Eye disease and YES you can have both Hashi's and Graves at the same time and be low thyroid.
