Guest guest
I've had a pretty crappy day today. but im feeling SOO much better. had a great service at church tonight and im just feeling at peace with things. i know God gave me these challenges knowing i can handle them, and just thinking that makes me feel SOO much better. im special! he picked me to take care of this special child!! im gonna stop asking WHY and start saying THANKS. i wanna HELP her and saying HOW COME isn't doing anything but making me feel bad!! We can beat these challenges!!! if we never beat them to what society deems correct or acceptable WHO CARES! im gonna give my child my all, what she deserves, and thats the BEST of what i can, doing what i feel BEST about, raising her the BEST possible way i know how, and try to give her the BEST care that we can to give her the BEST CHANCE of beating all of this! I know we're TRYING and thats the most important thing in the world for HER and for ME! HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD A meeting was held quite far from Earth! It's time again for another birth. Said the Angels to the LORD above, This Special Child will need much love. His progress may be very slow, Accomplishments he may not show. And he'll require extra care From the folks he meets down there. He may not run or laugh or play, His thoughts may seem quite far away, In many ways he won't adapt, And he'll be known as special. So let's be careful where he's sent, We want his life to be content. Please LORD; find the parents who Will do a special job for you. They will not realize right away The leading role they're asked to play, But with this child sent from above Comes stronger faith and richer love. And soon they'll know the privilege given In caring for their gift from Heaven. Their precious charge, so meek and mild, Is HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear is under the weather as she gets ready for the 10th. With good care she still has time to recover. Please encourage her to rest etc. I have had a hayfever attack this week and am also worried (overworried?) that the anatheseologist (sp?) might pull the plug on my event Monday. I talked to the doctors office so they know. But I am feeling better this morning and I don't think it will turn into a sinus infection. They said if it is not an infection but more cold like they will go ahead (Last night a breathing tube would have been useful - bad joke)I am going to rest this weekend and will myself better because I too don't want to delay. Guest guest
>Hi Annette, Good luck on the 2nd, please know my thoughts will be with you and I will send tons of good energy your way. Ironically, this infection is what truly made me realize that I really AM ready for this thing, and am sad that I have to reschedule. I am on my fourth round of antibiotics for this and I just dont see it going any where by the 10th. Again, there is a good side and that is the priceless feeling of (somewhat) peace and acceptance for what lies ahead. Please keep us all posted, Annette and you will do fine. > > I'm sorry to hear is under the weather as she gets ready for the > 10th. With good care she still has time to recover. Guest guest
, Tough break on the sinus infection. At least they already know you are fighting one and do not want to tax your body any further. I can understand to wait after all this prep would be awful too. I hope all clears up for you. > >Hi Annette, > Good luck on the 2nd, please know my thoughts will be with you and I > will send tons of good energy your way. Guest guest
, I am so sorry you are fighting this infection. Are you already cancelled for the 10th or are you just suspecting things may not clear by then? I do hope, if you have to reschedule, the wait isn't too long....however I am sure with upcoming holidays the schedule can get a little compressed. It is good to hear that you are at peace now with your decision to move ahead and I hope you are able to stay in that " place " until whenever your surgery is scheduled. There is nothing like stress to supress your immune system...so maybe now you will see the antibiotics begin to kick in. Take it easy, Cam
