I try to explain it in terms of the fact that when I have a flare up my body is eliminating toxins more rapidly than usual and the immediate after-effect is that I have clearer skin (until the toxins start to build up again, until the next flare up). My children are grown and happy. I have a loving husband, a rewarding job with Fridays off, a beautiful garden, and time to travel. Go figure.
