Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't written anything in awhile, been very busy with family and band stuff (daughter is in the marching band which is gearing up to go play in the Orange Bowl National Championship game). I had my 8 week check up. I'm doing great! I have no problems with nausea anymore (unless I over do it - which I try NOT to do). I can eat whatever I want, just not a lot of it. I can even have salad, which some of the post ops in the support group meeting I attend have a hard time with. I am not sure who's scale is accurate anymore, but I was weighed 3 times in 2 days by 3 different doctors and it ranged from 46 - 50 pound weight loss in 8 weeks (with 2 of the dr's showing 50 pounds). I can bend over and wash my feet now! I don't have to do the flamingo thing anymore! I walk a mile a day! Prior to August, I couldn't walk around the block! Would I do this again? In a heartbeat! I'm getting my life back and I'm enjoying it. I'm even starting to feel skinnier, but I think that's cuz my clothes are too big on me now in Michigan BPD/DS Open Dr. Hares 8/11/00 348 BMI 58.3 10/11/00 298 BMi 50.
