Guest guest
Well that was really helpful. It's funny because before I went on the pill two years ago, my periods were also 5-6 weeks apart but I was told that is normal for some people. I never complained, anyway. I have been off the pill of 3 months now, and the first two periods came 4 weeks in between but now I am waiting and waiting and it doesn't come! haha at least there's no chance I'm pregnant! lol. I'm at five weeks now waiting but if it could be one of the syptoms I better get it checked out. hmmm... well I'm sick of self-diagnosing myself because I've been convinced that I had a billion different issues that turned out to be negative on the tests so who knows right? I just have this gut feeling that it's more than just VV. I honestly believe people don't 'just get' VV on it's own. How many people on this site only have JUST VV, just out of curiosity. It sounds from the posts like almost everyone has another condition on top of that. I was a little annoyed at the last visit I had at the gyno clinic only because the doctor on duty that day didn't seem interested in even checking out underlying conditions...he was " only concerned with the VV " and that's why I went to my family doc back home. Anyway the positives in my life outnumber the negatives. I am going on a camping trip soon with my boyfriend- really excited about that! And now all my symptoms of yeast are gone after being on the (mostly) sugar free diet for two weeks. I am slowly reintroducing a bit of sugar into my diet...today I had rhubarb pie from the garden, yum! I am allowing myself the equivelant of one tablespoon/day to see how I do with that. I have done ok so far! I have SUCH a sweet tooth...it's so hard to resist but It's getting a bit easier as the days go by. I am also on a caffeine/alcohol free diet now thanks to the bladder infection! oh well...I guess I've been looking slimmer these days thanks to all that and the swimming/jogging! hehe. Thinking on the bright side. Thank you VV for making me healthy! I would normally make every excuse not to exercise, but for my vagina, anything! talk about motivation... Until next time..
