I'm not sure if you're suggesting that my mentioning his website and the

original article he referred to was a " snide and degrading " remark or not.

It certainly wasn't meant to be. I was trying to cut him some slack.

I'm a bit confused about the wording up there saying why you joined the

list. Could you translate? Right now I'm not sure if you joined *because*

you think there is " altogether rejection " of alternate therapies and a

tendency to ridicule those who support them, or despite it, or you're

saying there is no rejection and people shouldn't make snide remarks if

someone mentions an alternate. Sorry to be so dense.

I've personally never felt this list frowned on mention of alternate therapies.

well said CJ. I have thought that about almost every list I have ever belonged

to.

Now having said all this, the reason I joined this list was the altogether

rejection of anything alternative, and the tendency to riducule those that

suggested or even inquired about those things, so it would be nice if here, we

could listen politely,

comment without snide degrading remarks (or make no comment at all) and let

each

make their own decisions!

Hey, if you want rejection of alternate methods go to world owned by dr rollo.

They wont even let you use the word anodyne therapy. Thats why I got kicked

off. I was and still am very interested in that therapy. Helen is doing the

treatments and it seems to be helping some but not everyone that uses it. I

think it is another YMMV thing.

I am willing to listen or read just about anything. My opinion is if they claim

it is a cure my interest goes way down. If they claim it can help then I perk

up and pay attention. If there is ever a cure for diabetes it will make

headlines bigger than the Iraqi war and both. Just my 2 cents

worth.

I got warned and then put on moderation before I decided to leave that list.

I tend to agree. " cure " is an overused word.
