Guest guest
Hi Shana, I've got these symptoms too, when I switched to Armour. My thyroid started to ache, it lasted for probably 2 months. At the time, I was really concerned, put several posts with questions on different fora. But I didn't listen to people's advices to go and see a doctor. I figured: what can the doctor do about it? Unless it gets more serious, might have the thyroid removed, I have had so much RAI already...... It is only through your post and 's respond that I realize and remember I had the same thing! And obviously, as soon as the ache went away, I forgot how concerned I was about it too. Guest guest
well, thanks to cindi's response i decided not to call my doctor. he is only too willing to take my armour away, and i really want to give it a fair shot. thanks for your reenforcements, it really helps. my only concern is when do i get concerned? thanks shana > > In a message dated 7/14/2004 1:52:07 PM Eastern Standard Time, > > ptahia@y... writes: > > > > > last night i suddenly felt a hot > > > flash, pressure surging from my throat to my head and my thyroid > was > > > swollen and started to ache. it was gone by morning. > > > is this about right or should i do something about it? > > > > > > > Shana, > > I got these several times as I was upping my Armour. Guest guest
Hi Shana, For myself I decided that I would get concerned, go and see a doctor if I would start having difficulties swallowing food. Ofcourse the best thing for YOU, is probably to go and see a doctor anyway. What happened to me and might be different than the cause of your thyroid ache. What is the cause of your hypo? BTW, when I'm reading 's answer again, I realise that I have a red face too, also red skin on my hands and feet. It's not all the time. And it is less now than in the beginning. It looks like sun- tanning, but its not, since the summer in Holland is very very GREY, Gggrrrr, for weeks now. (It influences my mood too, no sunshine, me not happy, uh uh). But we had a few sunny days a month ago and I tan very easy. Actually, for my red/brown skin I thought it might be an adrenal sign. But at the moment its not very strong. Its probably a temporary thing too. Anyway, just thought I should mention this. Hope your thyroid-ache vanishes soon .....
